The Fifth Day Crew Coordinator needs help.

January 15th, 2011

This crew coordinator is searching for volunteer(s) to help with getting the Fifth Day sailors organized and out sailing. With many commitments this coming sailing season, I’m realizing I can’t do it all. I need help making sure we have enough crew for each week night and weekend races, planning the social events, and help with this website. So if you are interested and available to help, please send me an email. Much appreciated!

The Fifth Day Annual Potluck: January 15, 2011 6pm

December 16th, 2010

The Annual Potluck is back on! We have a venue so please reserve the date, January 15, 2011 for 6pm. An event registration will be sent out soon. Please register for this event and provide your email address with the number of attendees including yourself. Also include what potluck dish(es) you and your attendees plan to bring. Each person attending should consider a dish to feed 5-8 people. Remember to bring beverages to share as well. I will then send you an email directly with the venue details. Pass the news to other crew members who may not have subscribed to this website. I’m trying to avoid mass emails. Happy Holidays!

Help! We need a new Venue for our Annual Potluck!!

December 12th, 2010

The Willings are unable to host The Fifth Day Annual Potluck this year at their place, so we are now looking for a new venue to host this event. Would any of the crew have a venue that can handle roughly 20-30 people who will be bringing food and beverages? Unfortunately, my place is not suitable and even if I book the party room, parking will be a nightmare. The date has tentatively been set for Saturday January 15, 2011 but this could change depending on finding a venue to host this event. Please send me an email message, if you can help.

Event Registration Procedures & Privacy

August 5th, 2010

The website is open to all viewers, but is intended for only subscribed users and friends of The Fifth Day family. New subscriptions to this website will be screened so please introduce yourself to The Fifth Day crew and family to avoid any confusing or rejections.

Events are listed in the calendar and also under the Event registration page (unless the crew coordinator is delinquent). Please note for every weeknight race the maximum attendees have been set at 6 and every weekend race is set at 8 max attendees. You should be able to register more than one person at a time. So please include any friends or family that plan to attend with you. You do not need to complete the registration form. Just name and maybe a contact number in case we cancel a race suddenly. We need a minimum of 3 crew members per race.

For privacy, only the webmaster will see who exactly has registered. If you wish to know exactly who is sailing, please send me an email. Thanks for everyone’s patience.
